Dear Janine, Ernie, Miriam, Joyce, Marylou, Beth, Billy and family-
I am saddened to hear of you father's passing and thankful he is now with the Lord. I remember him as a warm, friendly man, who loved his family, and having fun. I was very blessed by your parents and siblings when you were living in Sacramento! It was so much fun on summer evenings to be included, as we all crowded into the big convertible(cars were as big as boats back then!) and headed out to Dairy Queen for Dilly Bars. How he thought it would be too funny to ask your girlfriend to go on a date to "der Weinerschnitzel"! I loved attending Arcade Baptist Church and youth group with all of you. And I was incredibly touched when you and your dad took me to the David Wilkerson Crusade at the Memorial Auditorium downtown, were I accepted Christ. And I will always remember how special Christmas 1970 was, when your parents invited me to Nampa for the holidays. Your dad loved you all more than you can ever imagine, and I know he will be sorely missed. xoxoxoxoxoxo

You beautiful children are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Sending you love and hugs long distance. Our Lord will wrap you in His arms of love and compassion as only He can do. One day you will all be together again for a great reunion.
